Platinum’s story began in 1990 when Neal TeBrinke founded the company, named, Neal’s Electric. In 2012, Curtis and Trevor TeBrinke partnered with their father, and have grown the company tremendously while taking on management and ownership. Neal’s Electric rebranded in December 2017 to mark a new era for the company and break down reference confusion.
Platinum Electric’s team includes skilled journeymen and apprentices who are ready to execute each and every project safely, on schedule, and in a most efficient, cost effective manner. The team strives to create long term relationships with clients; valuing their support and business.
Curtis TeBrinke is Co-Owner of Platinum Electric Ltd. Curtis completed his Electrical Apprenticeship at British Columbia Institute of Technology, attaining his Inter-provincial Red Seal in 2006 at the age of 20 years old, and soon after, Class A FSR Status. His work experience was in residential, agricultural, and commercial, including generator installations, schools, and health care facilities. In the last decade, he has successfully executed a number of multi-million dollar projects, growing the company to new heights and sectors. Since purchasing Neal’s Electric (Platinum Electric as of December 2017) in 2012, Curtis has taken on a management role that includes estimating, project management, and the daily operations of the company. Curtis resides with his wife and three children in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
Trevor TeBrinke is Co-Owner of Platinum Electric Ltd. Trevor completed his Electrical Apprenticeship at the University of the Fraser Valley, attaining his Inter-provincial Red Seal in 2009 at the age of 21 years old, and a few years later attained his Class A FSR Status. He is known for his expertise in agricultural installations, specializing in poultry farming. Trevor is also highly skilled in high voltage installations. Since purchasing Neal’s Electric (Platinum Electric as of December 2017) in 2012, Trevor oversees the residential sector of the company, as well as estimating and managing other key projects. Trevor resides with his wife in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
